How to Eat 100% Vegan
Becoming Vegan has the single biggest impact on an individual’s footprint on nature and climate, but it isn’t necessary for everyone. It has been proven to be incredibly good for human health though, drastically reducing cholesterol, blood pressure and things such as inflammation in the body. Many vegans have made this choice for reasons beyond the environmental impacts. There is a considerable amount of animal suffering in the process of farming, particularly in intensive practices. Where animals are locked indoors for nearly their entire lives, and are killed at young ages for the benefit of meat and dairy production, it is incredibly sad, and a good reason to become vegan. The effect on the environment from making this choice is extraordinary. Three quarters less land is used for the production of food for a vegan, and the food production process uses one third of the carbon from the average citizen.
