How to Replace dairy milk and yogurt with plant based alternatives

The amount of dairy milk we drink each year has been going up over the years. Each of us in the UK consumes around 150ltrs of milk every year, around a pint a day. The impact of milk consumed by an average adult is considerable. It releases nearly half as much carbon as running a car for a year, and uses nearly a tenth of the land we need to feed ourselves. Plant based alternatives, such as soy and oat alternatives, are enriched milks with vitamins and calcium. They still use quite a lot of land in production, but they do cut a chunk out of your carbon emissions. And they are also just as tasty when you get used to them.
